The Village

Guiting Power (described by the Times newspaper as "possibly the best address in the Cotswolds") lies in a fold of the Cotswold hills on the road between Winchcombe and Stow-on-the-Wold, twelve miles east of Cheltenham.

The village stands 600 to 700 feet above sea level and is located near several walks. Wardens Way, running right through Guiting Power village and Windrush Way linking the Oxfordshire and Cotswold Ways.

Even though Guiting Power is a small village, it boasts many features. There are two pubs, the famous Hollow Bottom, (favourite of the racing fraternity) and the Farmers Arms. There is a shop, which sells fresh bread (baked on the premises), milk and daily essentials.  The Old Post Office has been turned into a very welcoming coffee shop, which also sells daily newspaper and popular magazines and much much more! A great place to watch the world go by.
